Hello! Kaya!
I'm a documentary and portrait photographer, podcast producer & youth arts worker who comes from a sheep farm in the Wheatbelt in WA.
As the daughter and sister of shearers, I've has always been fascinated by sheep shearing; before my photography project, S H E A R, I made two podcasts for ABC radio about shearing life in Western Australia.
Photos from S H E A R have been shortlisted for the National Photographic Portrait Prize, the Australian Photography Awards, Perth Centre for Photography Iris Awards, the Museum of Australian Photography's Bowness Prize and the Galah Awards' Regional Photography Prize.

To earn money and survive I do podcast editing, radio producing and photography as well as media mentoring with rural youth. Please get in touch with me about any of these services.
